Ceramic components
A specialist in ceramic component manufacture uses a range of technical ceramics in producing precision parts in small and large runs for medical device, electronic, mechanical, heating engineering, and other applications.
The defined porosity of ceramics such as zirconia, along with high strength, biocompatibility, and resistence to wear and corrosion, make ceramics a good fabrication material for medical and biotechnical devices such as scalpels, scrapers, forceps, and other instruments; pipettes for microdosing; miniature pacemaker feed-throughs; substance bodies for irradiating cancer cells; and bushings, shafts, and pistons for pump bearings in medical equipment.
The manufacturer uses pressing and finishing equipment it has developed and built itself, and it fashions parts, thermal-treats them, hard-machines them, and surface-coats them in a facility certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
