As a medium-sized company we consider environmental and energy management systems suitable instruments for integrating environmental protection into business operations and opening up new possibilities for energy saving. The manufacture of Technical Ceramics is a process requiring extensive energy consumption and offers many opportunities for economic measures to ensure a healthy environment.

We have been successfully implementing our environmental policy with the following measures:

• The kilns we use in our manufacturing process are suitable for heating of other manufacturing sections. This saves heating energy and allows an overall reduction of CO₂ emissions.
• We are committed to ethical and ecological guidelines for procurement and cooperate with our suppliers to ensure eco-friendly behavior.
• Our Ideas Management documents, checks and implements proposals from our employees for environmentally friendly behavior.
• A clever system of air pressure management allows the optimum control of different compressors.

Certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 and DIN EN ISO 50001

We have been certified in accordance with environmental management standard DIN EN ISO 14001 since 2005. Since then we have aligned our corporate policy in accordance with the requirements of these standards. Due to our energy-intense activity, we have also introduced an energy management system in addition to our environmental management system. We have been certified in accordance with energy management standard DIN EN ISO 50001 since 2012.
